Elbow Cay is a little slice of paradise in the Abacos- just five miles long, but packed with gorgeous beaches, colorful settlements, and a laid-back atmosphere.
June is prime time on the island, so get ready to embrace "island time"- where things move at a more relaxed pace! Most shops and restaurants accept major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), but American Express is not typically accepted. Some spots are cash-only, so bring a little extra with you (ATMs are tough to find here). Tipping is always appreciated, especially in cash. US Dollars and Bahamian Dollars are accepted everywhere and are valued the same.
